This teardrop agate displays the following layers from outside in: Translucent cream soda agate, fine banding, crystalized quartz, more agate banding, and a glistening geode pocket center. You’ll find a few water level bands at the point for good measure.

This specimen is tan with red & maroon tints coming in like water color. It has typical Misty Mountain scales, and a rounded, polished face.
